..I quite like Echinacea's...don't know if you do, but there are a couple of yellow ones, including the new 'Aloha'...available up north from Larch Cottage... or the 'Sombrero Lemon Yellow'... available on eBay.... the first one has a very long flowering season, so I read.... I'd like that... but not everyone's cup of tea...
I saw a really nice pale yellow daylily this morning, flowering already, none of mine are. Unfortunately it's owner didn't know the name but a browse through a daylily catalogue would find it.
and aquilegias, some on the aquilegia thread are pale yellow.
..oh I love the Spring daylily...Hemerocallis lilio-asphodelus.... they have a wonderful clump at Wisley and I grew it in my last garden...always meaning to get another... it's not one you see everywhere..yet it has a lovely scent to it...
...that would be lovely...I see they have them for sale on the RHS website on offer.... 3 plants 9cm pots for 11.98.... I'm going to check what their delivery terms are...

In the sticks near Peterborough
Fragrant Returns is a pale yellow daylily, I've put that in this year. Stella de Oro is yellow but not sure what shade, might be darker.
Stella d'oro is bright, golden yellow if it bothers to flower. I got rid of mine, the flowers were very few.
