Can any one identify this plant and give basic care info
Hi Andrew,
It's a pieris. I know they like acidic soil but other than that I don't know.
I'm trying to repair one at the moment which is nowhere near as nice as yours
Thanks Victoria
i was hoping to move this plant into the front garden that is north/west facing and gets the sun from about 3pm onwards.
do you know if this plant would be ok there?
Sounds like you have it right Andrew. add loads of peat when you plant it.
I would go with what Sandie says as I'm struggling with mine
There you go Andy form the RHS site loads of info and different types ,iv got the silver in the pic, wonderful plants
Is this the link you need Alan? http://www.rhs.org.uk/plants/details?plantid=1468
Woodland plant, doesn't enjoy full sun although will tolerate it. Ericaceous or acid loving, but again I grow on chalk. Fairly tough plant and will produce flowers/ pink or red parts and berries.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
