position of compost bin

I have recently moved and my new garden doesn't have a compost bin. The only place I could fit one is in a very shaded and cool position. Would this be ok? Thanks

    Yes it would be fine there Gilly. I have three in various positions and they all give up great compost, it's what you put in it that counts.

    Try and buy it a companion (or two) because having more than one bin allows you to leave the contents to mature for a longer period.
