    Mine are dwindling. I think their site has become too shady. I must sling some seed somewhere better.

    ive just split a load of astrantia (whitish with a hint of pink) for my mum, i'd like to have a clump but i'm too scared of importing her ground elder with a microscopic piece of root

    how long do they take to flower from seed? as i planted mine from bulbs last november

    Sanjy I quarantine stuff that i have doubts about. Separate into the smallest viable pieces and grow on in a pot for the summer. If nothing appears I plant it out.

    I like these rubbery looking flowers - I bought a Tripedale one last year which is mostly pink and white. Bees seem to like them all the sameimage

    I didn't know the flowers stood up when pollinated - interesting to know...

    yeah i still don't want to risk it i'll see if i can get some seed. 

    how long do the Siculum nectaroscordum take to flower from seed please ?

    I got a big bagful cheap from Parkers.  They will self seed in an undisturbed place, but easy from bulbs.
