how to stop leggy seedlings

Most of mine seem to do this! Especially beetroot, broccoli, and some lettuces. Am I worrying about nothing?

They need more light alex, they are stretching up so increase their exposure to sunlight.

don't grow them in rich soil ,seed compost or non compost soil from your garden. don't over water and thin out and re-pot regularly and make sure they do not get to hot and have the right amount of sunlight ,turn pots as well.image

  • Ok that all makes sense although they are in seed compost and they are in a conservatory so they have plenty of light. When I repot shall I cover the stem more so they are more stable? I recently made a mistake with my tomato seedling where I didn't repot them up to their leaves image
