Olive Coloured Pods
Hi, I have recently laid topsoil to the front and back of my house, and over the last few days it has appeared to be overrun by a strange olive coloured pod, that has an open top. They are about the size of marbles, and there's hundreds of them. Any idea on what these are or what they can be? Thanks, Dean

There is a cup shaped fungi called dung cup that looks like that.It grows on old dung. Presumably it came in the topsoil. Its harmless and will die off in time.
Thanks all!
