That's very kind MrsGarden. I'm a bit hit or miss with the lens to be honest and really struggle to get close ups. When I do, I'm never sure what I did. I can't photograph anything really small...which really bugs me at the moment as I'd love to manage to get some close ups of little beasties one of these days.
Know what you mean. Today was my first attempt beyond point and shoot. Green icon, gold icon and scene something icon is all I can say! They all looke dthe same to me!!!
These are mine I especially love the last one, no clue what their names are though . I love the ones in the first picture of Nutcutlet's; those are gorgeous that dark blue.. Sorry for my horrible spelling.

Lovee them all
but especially the blue and the white from bob.
I don't know the names of the different varieties, can you lovely lot let me in on the secret or shall I look it up?
They get so mixed up that most of them don't have names Mrs G
McKana are long spurred hybrids as in Bob's picture, there are a lot of different ones.
A. caerulea is a species, very pretty.
The middle one of mine is probably a cross between two species, A. vulgaris and A. viridiflora
In the sticks near Peterborough
So vulgaris are fat common ones, with mini spurrs?
Mckanna brighter with long fancy spurrs?
Hybrid, Caerulea and viridiflora ?
All new to me. I did do a fair bit of googling but nothing that made sense

I think they're McKana. Several others budding, will post when flower.
Last pic is gorgeous yarrow.

Thank you
I got it from seed from an example that was growing in my moms garden.
