Container size for growing peas

i have a metal container 10inches deep and wide, and it's 23inches long.
I want to grow dwarf peas -will this container be adequate ?

Outside and well watered, then a few Pea plants would grow with support. Their roots are not that extensive.
Thanks blairs that's great, I only want to grow a small amount so didn't want to use up space in my raised bed.
