What's happening to my bogbean?

Hi everyone,
I ordered some bogbean recently and when it arrived the leaves were lovely and green. I put it in the pond straight away (it's in a 1 litre pot that it arrived in), but after just a few days, the leaves have started to turn purple. It doesn't look healthy. What's wrong with it?

That new shoot looks OK, it's the new growth that's important. Old ones have been tortured by post or carrier.
