Can anyone id this plant?

ShellshockShellshock Posts: 4

I've had this plant for about 5 years and have yet failed to identify it.

Each summer it produces a crown of bi-coloured leaves that open and close like a piece of origami.

The flowers appear a week or two after the leaves, they are bright red and as the leaves only fully open in full sun.

I have accidentally transferred some into a boarder where the plant continues to perform

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
