It's Davidia involocruta, the handkerchief tree. What an amazing sight. I wonder how long it takes to get to flowering size
15 years from 2'. Hmm. Maybe not. I'll be too old to care by the time it flowers

I ought to have a Dove tree ........ but it'll grow far too big for my garden
