crab grass or tall fescue

hi everyone, i have thick patches of grass on my lawn, i have tried to identify them on line but im not sure what i have, it looks like crabgrass or tall fscue, do they both have the same treatment to get rid of them.many thanks

    The only way that you can get rid of them is to dig them out or weedkill them, I'm afraid. Other than that, mowing regularly should reduce their vigour.

    thanks alina, i think i will dig them out and re-seed because there is only 3
