Can anyone help?
we have made four lovely raised beds in our prolly tunnel great. Then we imported some soil and incorporated some fertilser. Great ready for planting.
we planted up some lettuce cucumber tomatoes . After a day they didn't look so good then after another day they were gone. On closer inspection I found leather jackets .
i know it is to late I the year to apply nemitodes but is there anything else that will get rid of them .".....

We were told that there skins are to thick now and that nemotodes wouldn't work.

I find the odd random one now and again and chuck it out beside the bird feeders for the birds to get so perhaps you could do that in the meantime Mary - if it's possible!
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
the starlings will eat them .
