Shady veg patch

I have just moved to a new house and there are 3 areas that were obviously used as a veg patch, problem is they are in shade for most of the day. I want to grow some veg here but don't know what likes the shade. Any ideas please image

I used to have a shady garden - I grew Swiss chard, french beans, runner beans, rhubarb, beetroot and carrots.

Kale, salads and Chinese greens should be fine too.

Some herbs like it hot and dry, but parsley does better in shade and damp.
