Dying cherry
I have a cherry tree in a very large container. It has been doing really well for the last 3 years, then this year, it started to get a few leaves and a bit of blossom and then it has just died. There was what looked like chewing gum on the main trunk which I have cut off to see if that helps. So far, it looks like it is dead. Has anyone got any clues as to what has caused this and if I can save the tree?
