My Lupines are wilting!

I grew my Lupines last year and they have been doing great in my veg patch. I moved three of them into a boarder and almost instantly they started to wilt. The ones I left in the patch are doing fantastic. I water them well and I don't no what's happened. Can someone help me?

How much of a root ball did you take with them calum? When you move any perennial at this time of year they will resent it for a while, autumn is the best time when they are dormant. I suspect you didn't take enough of a root ball when you moved them. They will take time to settle back down, so be patient.

Lupins don't like being moved, but I would do what pansyface says.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
