What shrub is this>

Walked past this rather boring looking shrub this morning but was stopped in my tracks by the most wonderful perfume.  Looks like it is deciduous  with small white flowers.  Has anyone any idea what it is?

I think one of the eleagnus. E. umbellatus maybe.

the scent of that is amazing.

Thanks Nutcutlet - spot on again.  Yes, the scent drifting in the morning sun was amazing.  I wondered if it was an eleagnus but couldn't be totally sure. Thanks again.

Patsy, you've probably accidentally pressed 'ignore' when your cursor hovered over nutcutlet's avatar on another thread.  To fix that, go to Settings, Forum settings then Members I am ignoring.  If you see nut in there, click Remove next to her name.

That's quite likely Bob. Maybe I should make sure I haven't done that to anyoneimage

I checked my ignore list. Only historic WUMS and persistent advertisers

Thanks Bob - I checked my "ignores" too, just in case, as I would never have thought of that either.
