Watering dormant plants in an unheated shed

Morning all,

I have an unheated shed in which I intend to overwinter pelargoniums and coreopsis.

Is there any rule of thumb for how often I should water them ?

Thanks,

Chris

Water sparingly- if at all-cold and wet will see of more plants that just cold-so it is best not too

There are instances of pelargoniums just being wrapped in newspaper over the winter and left like that until the spring-so they really do not need much water
