Hi, firstly I need to say I've planted 3 fuschias in the ground last summer and one of them survived really well the other 2 almost died and are looking rarther mad at me. So basically fuschias are unpredictable and stroppy little things so it's always hard to say the right thing to advise however the type you have is classed as a standard (a ball of leaves on top of a long slim stem- sorry if you already knew this) and should (in theory) not be frost resistant so leave it in the pot so you can protect it in the winter. If you can't protect it by bringing it indoors or a greenhouse and you really have to plant it outside it would stand the best chance against a wall or the house but really shouldn't make it through a harsh winter but like I said 'you never know''

I've just googled it and it was classified as a semi-standard. Yeah I have no idea either. Lol.
