Found this growing under one of my laurel trees. Anyone know what it is please? Could it be from this tree over my fence, the leaves do look similar? Thank you.

Thanks Hostafan, I've decided to get rid now, knowing what it is- seems like it's a large coton and it's already in an awkward spot...
