Everedge lawn edging

I was very intersted in the feature of this lawn edging system and was wondering if anyone has it in place and whether they would reccommend it? I was particularly curious as to (a) what is it like to mow over (ie, does it get scratched and the coating comes off?) (b) does it stay in place or start raising up?

I've never been tempted to use it Meomye because I can't see how it would be sturdy enough to do a decent job of retaining grass and surely it would get pushed aside eventually? I expect someone here will have used it and will be able to give you a better viewpoint though.
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I've seen in used in gardens open to the public, looked very neat, so I looked it up. £35 for 5 metres. I have a lot of lawn and beds so couldn't possibly afford it.
