    Depends what you want to use it for. 

    Break up the block and put it in a bucket, gradually pour water over and let it settle.  You will soon see when it is suitable for use. 
  • I had a coir block and used it to loosen up some of the ground around here. It worked a treat.  I got mine from Amazon. Originally bought it for houseplants but then moved and never got round to using it. It’s great for loosening up unresponsive clay soil. 
    If I was a Potter my soil would be awesome!!! For gardening……not so much
    Loam wasn’t build in a day 🌻
