ID please

I feel I should know the name of this stuff as it grows everywhere theres a stone wall around here.. Just wondered if I need to do anything to it like dead head etc..

    Aubretia. Yes ighten - dead head if you can and it'll flower again. I had some in the stone walls of the terrace at last house, and although I don't really like it much, it's great for that kind of situation. I brought some with me when I left and it lives in the pot with rosemary and thyme. Flowers constantly. image

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Yes, aubretia. It seeds itself in my stone terrace and walls. I love it.
