Planting Lily plants in the border
I have just bought some pots of lily plants from the garden centre. Each 6 inch pot has three stems with flowers. I am not sure if I should plant these stems as a single block or tease them apart and plant them further apart. Will each stem come from a single bulb?
I would be very grateful for advice.

I'd tend to seperate them a wee bit. You should have some idea of their ultimate size & giving them more room would help.
If they are going into another pot then it's less of an issue. J.
If you have three stems you should have three bulbs. I would tend to put them in the garden just as they are, as if you try to separate them you could damage the roots. Remember to check them daily for the scarlet lily beetle.
