hanging baskets
Hello, for 5 years now ive been attempting hanging baskets, ive managed to keep my back garden baskets alive & flourishing but im have trouble with my 2 in the front garden. It gets the early morning sun & for most of the day in the summer. I thought maybe it was too much sun/heat?? as im watering every day & feeding weekly... any suggestions on what plants can grow well in these conditions?

Have you tried adding water retentive gel to the compost?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I have, and the slow release plant food, and then soaking them in a bucket of plant food each week.. in seperate years of course.. I got a little more success last year as in 1 died quite quickly but the other survived and actualy had a bit of growth hanging down...I dont want to give up cause my nan had wonderfull hanging baskets every year, even made the local papers, im just realy struggling with these 2.. my back garden ones are fine..
