Can anyone help identify this plant

Hello to everyone this is my first post.

I saw this plant while on holiday in Pembrokeshire last year and it's been bugging me what it is can you help?

    I think or rather google think it is a Cimifuga or bugbane.

    Looks to me like a Persicaria, probably bistorta.

    Looks like persicaria bistorta to me too. It grows like mad in my garden, nice plant.

    Thank you both, Can go buy one now image Think it is Bistorta, but all 3 suggestions are lovely

    I would say a de4finate on the persicaria. And if it likes the position you put it in, it can become a bit of a thug!
