  • How time flies!  As promised - a pic of the hanging basket planted with trailing begonias.  I finally decided on just three plants in my 16" basket and I'm well pleased with the result.

A lovely basket  Pandora - well done. I save mine from year to year, well worth the effort.

Well done, they look beautiful ^_^

  • Thank you all.  I must say they turned out better than I thought they would, although they've had a bit of a battering with our strong winds today.

I feed mine every 5-7 days with a liquid tomato food which really increases flowers. They can take time to get going especially if you've got chilly winds in your neck of the woods. A bit of warmth and they'll romp away and flowering into late October. They are great value for money.

  • I bought my trailing begonias as plugs from an on-line site. I have placed them half way up the baskets with petunias etc in the top.

The begonias are growing no where near as much as the lovely, petunias, geraniums, etc.

Any idea why? Or is this the norm?

    Many thanks
