Clarington, once lifted, store dark, cool and dry if you can. Either paper/hessian bag or sand would be ok, as long as they are dry (otherwise they're likely to rot.) Avoid plastic bags at all costs - the bulbs still need to breath even though they are dormant and condensation will build up in plastic bags.
