Whitefly
My compost bin has been invaded by whitefly! I have never had whitefly in my garden before and now I seem to be overrun by them. The bin is next to my driveway where I park my car and they are getting inside the car. I have resorted to hanging a tree freshener (vanilla) as recommended on another website, and that seems to be killing off the little blighters.
Does anyone know what I can safely put inside my bin to kill off the whitefly without killing off anything else living in there?

Turn your compost thoroughly every couple of days - that should help.

I am not 100% sure about the identity as I have not had them before but I will try your tips. The bin already has a lid but I will lay some newspaper inside and will arrange to make a vinegar trap. I will also turn the compost. Thank you.
