Flame Lily

I bought 3 Flame Lily tubers at Harrogate flower show on Friday and have potted them up in a terracotta pot and put them in the greenhouse.

I'm hoping to see some signs of life in a couple of weeks and would like to see if it can climb the trellis next to the patio, a nice sunny spot.

Has anyone had much success with this plant out in the open during our lovely summers or am I better giving it a bit of TLC, I dont have a consevatory but could leave it in the greenhouse I suppose.
