Fruit tree walk way

does anyone have any idea how to make a fruit tree, not arch but a walk way, so you walk a path with fan or espalier fruit trees? Do I  make a growing frame or use the frame that comes with the espaliers. I have purchased 2plum espalier  sand two eating apple espalier. Do I leave a gap between them? Any help greatly recieved.

    I would use posts and wires either side of the walkway.

    The planting distance between the trees depends on their rootstock and how large your trees are going to grow, but they can be planted just a few feet apart - they don't need to be as far apart as standard fruit trees in an orchard.

    I think what you want is called pleaching. Try google it. Usually done with lime trees but I guess fruit trees would work although fruit needs light and air so you wouldn't be able to get a tight hedge like walkway.
