Not until they get a striker or four! Or Aguero. Or Hazard.

  • May I just add (to my lovely husband, landscaper 2) that the window was/is lovely and will be recycled into a cold frame! It is just the spot where the old (and falling down mostly) shed is, is perfect for a green house, I think! Any views on siting a greenhouse please? We have a north, east'ish facing garden with sun on the side where I want to site the greenhouse but it is only partial sun, but for a lot of the day as it comes through the east'ish gap between the houses. Does that make sense!?!

    Any advice really welcome!image

Landscaper2 - it would depend on your budget if your buying new, i have an Elite belmont greenhouse I like it very much, but there is plenty very good brands. greenhouse people tend to have good offers.

nope Utd unlikely to gain there attacking instincts, to slow - no pace - falcao rubbish - rvp gone missing - di maria needs to pull his finger out. need better players like Mel said, I don't think they will finish in the top 4 as well.

  • I have a 6 ft circular Robinson Greenhouse and it is very good - best I've ever had: but having seen the Rhino Greenhouses at Gardeners World Live last Summer I would say they are of equal quality. I had to go for the circular one because of space and it cost £2,700 so was expensive (I don't know if Rhino do a circular one anyway) but I think size for size Rhino is better vfm.

  • Thanks to John and Perki, I've been looking at an Elite too, but the more you look, the more choice there seems to be. I bought a shed after some research, and there is some right rubbish on offer, and trawling the net is not without risks.

I'll continue to investigate, regards United, I used to go and watch Denis Law, so all these millionaire superstars don't impress at all, hair-bands, gloves, how did it all come to this?

  • just re-read my post above and realise I put 'circular greenhouse' but should have written 'Octagonal' but I'm guessing everyone realised what I meant! JH

When I was looking for a new greenhouse, I studied long and hard! Rhino are marvelous and the build quality is very good, BUT... they are very expensive.. Personally 2.5 - 3k was just too much for me, especially when you consider the size you could have and the options and still come in well under 2k.. I went for a 10ft wide by 12ft long greenhouse.. the adage is TRUE, get the biggest you can because it WILL be filled! Once you are past 8ft wide, if you choose to have toughened glass, trust me, the thing will NEVER blow away. With the size I had, I've had 40-50mph gusts 2 or 3 weeks back (tree fell on someone in a car in weorley castle bham 2 miles from me!), I had the damn doors open lol!!! The toughened glass is brilliant if you have kids too, but it weighs like 5 times as much as horti glass.. for the money you can save, get bar capping, toughened glass and then go for what size you can have with the same price a rhino will cost.If I had spent near 3k, I'd have had I think 10 foot by 8 foot rhino (a few years back) but for that money could have had my greenhouse as near 18 foot long not 12!!!  Please note, I had never built a greenhouse before or prepped the ground either!!! It's still there and the glass all still fits! People think bigger means weaker, when using toughened glass if anything it means stronger, something for folks to keep in mind!!!

We invested in a new greenhouse at the end of last summer.  We wanted something that would go with the style of our house (350 year old cottage) and opted for the Elite Thyme Dwarf Wall 8' x 10'.  We had the Dwarf Wall built by a builder then my wonderful husband did the rest himself.  The assembly instructions were awful and led to much blue air in the garden!  It ended up being used as storage for the back end of last year, but we've just put some proper staging in and its now ready for proper use image  I'm so thrilled with it and our 6 year old son is looking forward getting involved too.
