peas and frost

Hello I have grown some peas in pots as last year the wood pigeons got them. I would like to plant them out now but am worried about frost. Will frost damage peas?

Ok thank you. I was not sure as two years ago frost got my runner beans!

Runner beans are a tender veg-they don't like the cold let alone a frost.

    Peas are hardier

Peas are remarkable plants. They cope amazingly with frost when young. In fact, better when they're younger than more mature.

Beans are an entirely different proposition. They're strictly warm weather creatures.
