wrinkly rose leaves??
Hi all,
2 of my 4 roses (both climbers and in pots), which usually thrive against a west-facing wall and trellis seem to have developed strange crinkly leaves. Eventually the leaves smooth themselves out a bit once open, but the emerging leaves are very wrinkled along the long borders and slightly brownish and dry.
There are also a few rust spots on some of the leaves, which I have treated with Rose Clear.
After 2 applications, the spots are diminshing, but the wrinkliness sin't - could this be vine weevil?
Many thanks

No, that causes complete collapse. It's more likely to be uneven watering if they're in pots.
Thanks Alina - but what do you mean by uneven? I haven't actually watered them at all as it has rained directly into the pots pretty much every day for the past 5 weeks - they are free draining pots though. is it too much water?
I had vine weevil recently in the other half of my garden over the main beds (but not in any pots I could see) and treated a month ago using nematodes.
Thanks again.
