Weed killer on the veg patch??

In light of recent discussions on a certain weed, I was just wondering if it is safe to use Glyphosate on my veg patch?  Not on the actual area where I am growing the veg, but on the paving part to try and at least get rid of some of the weed?

I have always said I wouldn't and didn't want to use it, but if it's the only way I may not have a choice???

As far as I am aware the only danger would be if you accidentally sprayed on the foliage of your veggies.  So don't spray on a windy day, or safer still, put a barrier around the weed, like a box or cut off bottle, and spray into it to prevent airborne droplets landing on the wanted plants.  The glyphosate neutralises on contact with soil or stone.

Or the paint on glyphosate products would be good for spot weed elimination.

Actually, I really don't think I could use it, I'll just have to keep pulling it up image  Thanks anyway Busy Bee.
