Frost burnt Hydrangea

Hi

I bought two lovely white Hydrangea's about a month ago and being a novice gardener I left them out and think they have frost burn on them. There are a few mopheads damaged and turning brown also some leaves.  Would it be correct to cut off these heads and leaves to encourage new growth there are new flower buds that are fine.

Please help!

Chris

There's no need to do anything. Hydrangea flowers are normally left on the plant until next spring, and the leaves will fall of their own accord when the goodness has been withdrawn from them.
