Soil

Hello everyone,
Not long ago I dug out a small hedge in my front garden, put up a fence, now I'm trying to prepare the soil for planting. I have racked out a lot of roots, but there still seems a lot more in there, now, do I spend some more time in removing them or would I be able to start planting?

Hi Akka and welcome
What sort of hedge was it? Some will grow again from roots left behind, some won't.
