Irregular tumbled bluestone
Hi, we want to lay a garden path using irregular tumbled bluestone but cannot find any UK suppliers let along any in the South Coast area, can anyone recommend/help please?

I think the only area in the UK to have bluestone is in South Wales and is probably under a conservation order because of it's uniqueness, some of Stonehenge is made from it, so it would have to be imported, as Hostafan says, possibly from US. You can get blue beds in some other British sandstones, I've seen blue in woodkirk and clipsham but it's difficult to predict when and where it's coming up.
Blue slate might be the nearest stuff in the UK. There are slate quarries in Cornwall which may be able to supply irregular sized pieces (commonly known as crazy paving in the UK.)
