Spiraea Shirobana

Has anyone grown this dwarf shrub.  We live in the North west on an Island

and it can be quite windy and we get a lot of rain. 

I would like to grow this in container, it is to block out a 18in gap between a wall and a fence.  The other side of this gap is our neighbours extension, so when the wind is blowing from the east it blows through the gap.  It is a sunny position.

Or could you recommend an alternative

    We used to sell this at the nursery where I worked on the firth of Clyde. Never had any trouble with it.

    Thanks for that.  I will try it as you are a lot further north than us.
