I have two clematis side by side in pots one is fine the other is flowering but looks like it is wilting and may die, should I spray it cut it back or dispose of it?

Wait and see what happens. If it wilts completely and goes brown you probably have clematis wilt. Cut it back to ground level, feed well and you will get fresh shoots.
