poorly plant eek!
I recently bought 3 6ft photinia red robins, two look fine but this one seems to be dropping its leaves! the normal dark green leaves sewn to be getting paler as can be seen in the photo, of any one could make a suggestion I'd really appreciate it Stoll three were plantedin the same border with bone meal and a handful of chickenpellet manure.

Hi Carol did you mean to post a photo?
They naturally lose some leaves during spring, can look quite alarming at times and is a question quite commonly asked.
Don't know if this is the problem but my late mother in law had a hedge of these plants and one or two showed signs of powdery mildew on new leaves in the spring. She sprayed them and removed as much as possible without leaving them too bare but it never seemed to cure it completely.
Mine dropped a lots of leaves last year (to the point of 'is it dead') and next doors (literally through the fence) kept growing and looking good. This year mine has lots of new shiny red leaves and theirs is losing lots of leaves. Literally 30cm apart. By summer both will be fine.
