thanyou monty.
Hi .. I planted an orange pip about 15 yrs ago ....Still growing & loves the sun ..
Last summer had first flowers ... After Bees covered it ... now have small fruits forming !
The fruit if anything may not come to much as the original stock was unknown
My point is that i've found them very forgiving .., much light & keep scale insect @' bay with mild soap & a toothbrush ( cover the soil in pot from the cleaning solution ! ) I under water if anything!
Just seen Monts' video ... Sage advice as always
I have 2 lemon trees in smallish pots and they are covered in lemons. The flavour is out of this world and have used them all through the winter and now. Have just rescued an orange tree from my local garden centre. Going to repot all of them in a pot next size up which is what Monty suggests. They are currently in my large Orangery/ conservatory and doing well even though we do not heat the conservatory 24/7. Wondering if I should leave them in their old pots until next year and just put some fresh compost on the top as Monty has shown. Thanks Monty, I have been following you since your This Morning days with Richard and Judy!!!
