Shrub leaves go brown

Hi, I moved, at the time healthy, small shrub, from my back garden to my front flower bed about 3 years ago. It has struggled to grow and as you see, the leaves develop has brown patches. On the positive side it is budding lots of flowers. I feed it regularly in the summer months. The soil around here is gravely, and I think this shrub was in more gravel/sandy type soil when in the back garden. I planted the shrub in my front flower bed with some compost. The flower bed itself is basic (stoney) top soil. Is it a laurel? Grateful for some advice.

..this looks like Prunus laurocerasus 'Otto Luyken'... a dwarf laurel... I would remove those brown leaves, feed and mulch... spraying with a fungicide might be helpful... it may have a fungal disease going on there..
Thanks Salino, I have been removing some brown leaves but will give it a good 'going over' next time. Will continue to feed and will have a go at mulching - I think some of my other plants may benefit from this. Maybe try this first and if no success, get a fungicide.
