Figrat, love the piccies, amazing work

All......am jealous of the progress of your veggies, at times like this I think was my holiday worth it when Im so far behind image. Managed to get a couple of hours out in the garden, this clearing is back braking and hardly seem to be making a dent in it. Hpoing for another dry day tomorrow, fingers crossed. Enjoy your  weekend peeps x

Weird day for weather - hale earlier on, then... SUN! And it stayed sunny enough to dry the lawn out enough to mow, which it really needed. Also started digging out the last overgrown bed in the garden which I'm going to use for the courgettes I've got in the coldframe. A productive afternoon image

@Wintersong, thanks for the staking tip, I'll probably try that with the digitalis when they go in.

Also, I went for wander earlier and saw a swan sitting on her eggs, and loads of wild Cowslips. I want some in my garden now.

I grew my cowslips from seed a few years back but they never established in their original spot which was swamped with Aquilegias. Since upgrading them to their own patch, they are multiplying at a rapid rate image They get morning sun with afternoon shade.

Definitely a wintry May here, I am surprised that some stuff is still growing it is so chilly. But no frost. The only thing I may do today is weeding, then I am debating a roast lunch?
