Yes JodeJay, it is a privilege, I'm so glad to have finally made it and have little things using it. The birds seem to like it too.

There are hundreds of tiny wiggly things in my pond that look like tiny tadpoles, and wiggle along sideways. Does anyone know what they are?

There are hundreds of tiny wiggly things in ponds Jack, that's just the start. We got an Aldi microscope and can see even more now. Enormous nematode worms swim across the computer screen, terrifyingimage

Some of them will be gnat larvae, and the rest of them will be things that eat the gnat larvae image

Wow nutcutlet, that sounds ace! I'm going to have to try that, a microscope that connects to the computer?

Cheers Dovefromabove, I'm glad there seems to be a little eco system starting in there.

We've just been watching Diving Beetle larvae eating gnat larvae, a pair of red Damsel flies mating and laying eggs on the pondweed, and a Hoverfly larvae just mooching about doing whatever it is they like to do. image

If I see it coming round again I'll post it on here. Most of Aldi's deals come round again sooner or later.

I'd look at Maplin or Amazon if you want one sooner
