This year I decided to try Amazon for seeds and plants  on a neighbours  advise and was pleasantly surprised. They were miles cheaper and the seeds have all come up.I certainly will order again from them. image

  • I  have been buying plants and seeds off eBay for years with very few problems. I find the plugs are bigger than the big suppliers, and the choice on there is much better. They also tend to be cheaper, especially if you can get combined postage on a supplier that offers a few plants that you fancy.

I have also bought off Amazon but the limit on free P&P below £10 is bugging me a bit! A lot of the Amazon suppliers are also on eBay.

I have filled up my pond with plants from eBay and have found enormous choice compared to garden centres.

I even bought a Daphne in a 24cm pot off eBay a month ago - it was way cheaper than anywhere else and it's flowering away in my garden happily.

  • I always buy seeds and plants from Ebay, I have never had any problems with any sellers and they are always good quality when they arrive.  I would recommend it.

True, you just have to be a bit careful of those offering seeds of hybrids and cultivars, which won't seed true.
