I've had some in the g/h to get an earlier crop. Some (mostly Sophie) have snuffed it but most (chiefly Cambridge Favourite) are growing well and have started flowering. Opiniion seems to be divided on whether we need to let the bees in: what do people think? (The point may be academic as I haven't seen many in that garden this year )
I'm growing 2 plants in a medium sized pot on steps outside my conservatory. I used my own homemade compost. The fruit is now forming. Will I need to give additional feeding? Thanks for any help as I've never grown strawberries before.
