This is a picture of the leaf.....its the best I can do so if anyone can identify it I would really appreciate it, firstly it is 100% not a callicarpa or a spirea.....
..the shape of the bush suggests a Deutzia to me..... I don't think it's a Philadelphus or Kolkwitzia... this last one tends to have peeling bark.... maybe Deutzia scabra...
The chap who's shrub it is mentioned orange flowers so I could end up eating my words jatnit & nutcutlet!!! I will wait until it flowers & then we will know
