Emergency cover-up for water butt
Up until now our very useful water butt on the corner of the house, in the front garden, in full view of the neighbours, has been beautifully disguised by a ceanothus which we have trained round it. Unfortunately it died this Winter. As a short-term measure I'd like to put some sort of shallow container on top with trailing plants. It is a South-facing, exposed area and any ideas would be much appreciated.

I have nasturtiums trailing over my water butt and last year I had sweet peas. Didn't conceal it, but were very pretty. Because it was underneath the guttering I had to water the pot quite regularly as the rain didn't reach it.
