Hi, My mother had some flowers and i took cuttings from her pinks in the bunch. thry have rooted in the pit but i am worried that if i put them put they will die if we have a frost? Are they hardy?

    best to wait until frost danger is over and that they have rooted well.

    They do, but they need a trim after flowering to keep them bushy. As you have found, it is easy to take "pipings" to root and make new plants.

    Is it ok to plant them out now do you think?

    I would suggest getting them strong in a 1L sized pot before putting them in the garden image
